As a member of Be Number 1, as well as giving financial support to a British athlete, you can show the world what a great sportsperson you are via your own B#1 Sports Page.

Each member is given a page on the Be Number 1 web site where you can show your own sporting highlights in the shape of blogs, photo galleries and video clips.

We’d like this to be very much sports, health and fitness orientated, so perhaps a bit different from other places on the internet where you can post. The most interesting Sports Page each month will be featured on the Be Number 1 Home page – so pick an athlete, sign up and get posting.

Its great to reflect on the friendships that I’ve made on the world tour.  We all just took a deep breath and a huge weight came off our shoulders after our last match of the year.  Everyone seemed less tense and free as we all reveled in our break from volleyball.  We all went out to the local American-style bar in town and you could see everyone with a smile on their face.

China was a tough one to end on because we had 2 good matches and 1 really poor match.  I wanted so badly to get a higher finish at the end of season, but it just didn’t work out for Shauna and I.

What will I do now?  I flew back to England to get some house work done and will leave for the States in a few days to spend time with my family.  I can’t wait to see them and spend Thanksgiving with them. I’ll be there for 3 weeks.

I’m home in time for my induction into my high school hall of fame.  Its the first time they’ve done a hall of fame and I am one of the inductees.  Its kind of exciting but a bit embarrassing at the same time.
